Hailing from the City of Angels, where amazing fashion, music, food and art are in abundance, I felt a little biased moving to Atlanta and not being able feed my hunger for such rich and diverse culture. So I, Wanya, along with the help of my sister, Greta created this blog, because we want to discover Atlanta with a brand new set of eyes. For the past couple of years we’ve been living with blinders on and now our mission is to find all the hidden gems this city has to offer.
Out of the three years that we’ve been here, we’ve yet to dig beneath the surface to discover the diamonds in the rough. You find the finest treasures buried under waves, right? Right. Whether it be that dope boutique that no has ever heard of or that music store where you can get that tune you’ve been wanted hear. In addition, we’ll be conducting interviews, along with showcasing local artists (or anyone that comes through the city) and store owners to give an in depth look into their world. The city too busy to hate is bustling with untouched talent and I’m here to serve it to you on a platter. More than anything, this site is to give credit to a city that I haven’t gotten a chance to discover yet. I hope you’ll come along and explore my new playground with me: a city they call Atlanta!
