If you don’t know his name, then you should by the end of this interview. I got the special opportunity to talk to P.O.S. over the phone about what get’s him pissed off and what makes his message stand out beyond the rest. P.O.S. is a Minneapolis native with an arsenal of words he’s ready to unload at anytime. Don’t get mistaken by his humble demeanor, because once he hits the stage, its lights out! He did something unprecedented at his show at the Masquerade and you, my friend, should feel a world of disappointment that you weren’t there. Midway through his set, he took his performance from onstage to the middle of the crowd. It felt like a revival in there with everyone chanting the lyrics to his songs as the music echoed through the venue. It was amazing! This man is sick with it! I never put anything up here that I am not a fan myself, so I’m telling you to get his album, Never Better.

Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Therefore I Am hit the stage at the Masquerade on a cold February day, moving the crowd with their relentless hard hitting lyrics and dynamic sound. I remember first seeing the band at Warped Tour at the Skull Candy Stage and Alex Corriea telling the crowd that great music is discovered here and you might find the sound track for your summer. Well, I did. Their music moved me in a way that I have yet to find in a lot of music out now. For one, it’s honest. If you weren’t at their last show at The Masquerade, you missed out. When Alex grabs the mic, you better pay attention and prepared to be in awe. Greta, honorary doll, Ashley, and I got the chance to sit down with singer, Alex, and guitarist, Travis Alexander, to talk about their album and life on tour.
